spurlos verschwunden? explores the life and work of female poets from the GDR. Through the process of embroidery, past and present intertwine to create a shared space of poetic resonance. The installation is complemented by workshops, where selected verses by the GDR poets and statements from the participants are stitched onto everyday fabrics as textile mementos. The craft of embroidery offers a unique way of archiving thoughts, experiences, and voices. This creates a multi-layered dialogue between landscape and memory, between female perspectives of the past and present, and between literary heritage and the lived reality of today in Lusatia.
