WORDS TO BUILD A CITY - A Bangalore Poetry Zine 


A collection of poetry inspired by life in the city, and the research conducted by the Indian Institute for Human Settlements (IIHS), which investigates the multiple facets of urbanisation.

Some poetry is extracted directly from research papers through Black-Out Poetry, other text engages with the city in different, very personal ways.

Grappling with the memories, promises, and questions that life in a rapidly growing city like Bangalore raises, this zine is a collected whole, fragmented, vulnerable, and speaking in the many voices that shaped it.
